About Us

Brant Hearing aid Clinic has been serving Brantford and Brant County since 1978. Greg Houle, B.Sc., M.Cl.Sc., Reg. CASLPO, Audiologist, is the Director. He has more than 28 years of experience providing services to hard of hearing people of all ages.



Greg Houle is a native of Espanola, Ontario. He attended Espanola High School where he participated in athletics, especially football and track and field.

He attended The University of Waterloo where he played varsity football. He graduated in 1979 with an Honours Bachelor of Science degree in Kinesiology. He studied Audiology at the University of Western Ontario Program in Communicative Disorders from 1979 to 1982 where he obtained his Master of Clinical Science Degree.

Greg started his career serving as an audiologist at Laurentian Hospital in Sudbury from 1982 to 1985. While he was there, he established a mobile hearing clinic that provided hearing services to under-serviced communities in North Central Ontario.

Greg moved to Brantford in 1986 where he joined the Department of Speech Pathology and Audiology at The Brantford General Hospital. He served this institution with distinction, winning an award for outstanding service, until late 2003. He joined The Brant Hearing Aid Clinic / Brantford Audiology Clinic on a full time basis in early 2004. In 2007, he became director of this clinic.

Greg has also served on The Brant Area Committee of The Canadian Hearing Society. He has appeared at public functions and local television programs on a number of occasions promoting public awareness of hearing loss. He is also a guest presenter in the Orientation/ Mobility Program at the Brantford Campus of Mohawk College.

Greg is registered with The College of Audiologists and Speech - Language Pathologists of Ontario (CASLPO). He is also a member of The Ontario Association of Speech Language Pathologists and Audiologists (OSLA); The Canadian Association of Speech- Language Pathologists and Audiologists (CASLPA) and The Canadian Academy of Audiology (CAA). He has participated vigorously with these associations on behalf of the profession of Audiology and the needs of the hard of hearing.

Greg has worked very hard over the course of his career in keeping pace with the rapid advances in the field of Audiology. He consistently exceeds by a wide margin the minimum requirements for continuing education.



Rodney Nelson is our Administrative Assistant. It is his voice that you will hear when you call and he is the first person you will see when you walk through our door.
